Fournette was one of the most phenomenal college RBs seen in recent memory.

He knows it.

He’s not letting anyone forget it either.

It’s not even a debate.

Lavonte David is the most slept on player in the NFL over the last 15 years..

Regardless of position.

sAints fans are gonna be feeling the pressure from fellow BUCS fans for the 6 months.

They may as well settle in with being uncomfortable.

INK’d UP!

Evans initially mentioned getting the tat on his neck. That was probably the drinks talking during the boat parade. While on his IG Live on March 3rd, he gave that pain a second thought.

This faithful fellow BUCS fan got a big sticker on his sweater to celebrate our Team’s 2nd championship.

That and what looks like Rugrats character Chuckie concealing or possibly selling what may be illegal drugs.

AWESOME.

The hot-button comment…..

The commentary/backlash……

The “clarification” less than 24 hours later.

And this is why I don’t follow the wave of the national media news cycle.

Too busy celebrating the winning season that was 2020.

The new one starts on March 17th.

Can’t lie…This one got me. I thought this was the official Buccaneers account for about 30 seconds.

Enough to get excited about the possible helmet rule change that would allow the BUCS to have throwback games once again.

After frantically searching for additional sources to confirm what I saw, I realized that was a fan account that had taken the Buccaneers’ official account and mimicked the look.

Now, I wanna chokeslam this lil’ bastard like Kane circa 1997.

More followers.

More loyalists.

More experts.

“Slant-boy” still gettin’ killed.

Next season’s match-ups are gonna be so damn chippy.

I can hardly wait.

Early season doubts and struggles didn’t stop this cat from shining in the Playoffs.

And it’s SO easy to forget this this was just year 2 for the young fella.

The BUCS could still draft another CB that could push him for the full-time CB2 spot.

But, SMB’s resiliency was damn impressive to end the season.

If you’re anything like me, you can’t stand to watch these guys jump on tv and pretend to know everything about every situation every single day for more than 90secs.

These cats will say damn near anything to get attention and have something to talk about.

All the narratives surrounding Tom Brady that got parroted NEVER made any sense if you watched any of the happenings over the last 3 years in New England. And you didn’t even need to be a fan of the team either.

Their success or failure was highlighted EVERY DAMN WEEK.

Archo is just one of many former players that get called upon to parade and falsify their existence in the NFL as expertise.

I’m glad people are keeping those receipts.

There are 16 more days until the 2021 NFL season officially kicks off .

Keep on dancing.

Keep on celebrating the SUPER BOWL year that was 2020..

The Fournette redemption song was just getting warmed up.

Something to keep an eye on…..

Interesting indeed.

That now sits at 8-3.

The “rigged” and referee conspiracy claims were in full effect by the end of the 2nd quarter.

Follow progress..not predictions.

It’s funny because it’s true.

Also scary as hell.

Speaking from experience.

Recurring theme: That damn Defense was killer.

Everything about this is PERFECT.

Winfield Jr. wasn’t on some pretty boy pettiness.

He didn’t just throw ‘em up on his way off the field.

Ol’ boy waited patiently until Hill made eye contact and hit him with the deuces.

That’s on the level of a perfectly delivered punchline from a comedian or a glance/look from an experienced stage performer.

It was intentional….not happenstance.

This was meant to be.

It had to happen.

This disrespect was REAL.

Winfield Jr. delivered one of, if not, the coldest revenge moments in NFL history on the biggest stage there could possibly be.

NARRATOR: Help never came.

A dream turned into reality.

It’s been a long time coming.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaay

All season, that damn defense had been consistently good.

At the end of NFC Championship game, Devin White said they still hadn’t played their best yet.

He wasn’t lying.

Short answer:

Hell Yea.gif

Serious business…What Todd Bowles did with that defense is liken to what Monte Kiffin did back in Tampa’s glory days en route to the 1st title.

Even while nearing the point where the Team was securing a playoff spot, I could see both of these guys being considered for replacement if the season didn’t end with a serious Super Bowl run.

Now, they’ll both be etched in BUCS history forever.

Disney ain’t slick.

The colours were faint orange and red.

Could’ve been either team. I know better.

Gronkowski was the acting public relations guy as well as the party-starter at the postgame press conferences.

That boy played on another level.

It’s only fitting he was living on another planet.

The prophecy has been fulfilled.

For The Children.

Well deserved.

In three seasons, this cat has grown into the BUCS best CB and leader in the secondary.

This is the story of the game. And the season.

Don’t let the talking heads fool you.

A straight up magic moment.

Something like this may not be seen again for another 55 years.

Devin White and that damn horse dream.

He wasn’t gonna let go.

On some Wayne Wonder sh*t.

Call The People….

Pay Attention.

Even in a bad loss, great players stand out.

That boy Mahomes is UNREAL.

EXACTLY.

At every level, big time plays were being made on the defensive side of the ball.

Once again, former BUCS franchise player, Gerald McCoy offers congratulations to his friends and former teammates.

Dude was a class act his entire time in Tampa.

And he continues that life wherever he goes.

Screen Shot 2021-02-09 at 9.08.20 PM.png

From the peanut gallery located in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Take the time to LISTEN to this dude.

In just his 2nd season, White is the biggest talker in BUCS history.

Dude is openly passionate and damn near brutally honest.

Down the line, that’s gonna confuse some “fans” and maybe even hurt some feelings.

But it’ll be aiight.

This dude is SO DAMN GOOD.

And yet, SO DAMN underappreciated and overlooked.

I’m glad he can say he’s a Champion.

Can’t forget about these ol’ salty dogs….Ha

Yea…They’re gonna have to do some renovating over at One Buc Place.

I wonder what the next one look like….

I wonder what the next one look like….

I’ve no clue why a League rules authority would make this statement.

Incidental contact is still contact AND a foul.

If a QB takes contact to the head, even the slightest touch, it’s a foul.

Why is any different for guys running routes?!

These kinds of tweets/statements only muddy the waters when trying to make the right call or even make a baseline for what would be the right call.

And why do that after the last game of the season??

Another proud parent moment.

Gotta love it.

Yea.

I hope BUCS fans learn to not pay attention to opinion rankings and “grades” ever again.

Fuck Em.gif

I cracked the hell up on this one.. Can’t even lie.

Mike Evans’ favourite player became one of his biggest fans. DOPE.

They had to go into MapQuest to track down how far this dude had to run in order to get away from Todd Bowles’ defense!!!

I wonder if he gets reimbursed for mileage.

Remember when Donovan Smith was the “worst LT in the NFL” and he was sure to be the reason Brady wouldn’t make it thru the season??

Pure joy.

All these damn onions in here…

All coordinators look alike.

That’s what they say.

One day, fans will wake up to the reality that the vast majority of these guys are just there for entertainment purposes only.

The cats don’t pay attention to the BUCS or what’s happening.

If it’s not a nationally televised game, they don’t watch closely and they don’t care to.

They’ve gotta pretend they know everything about every other team too.

And it’s not just the big national guys either.

Plenty of locals are thriving on stories/headlines rather than actual insight and journalism.

Watch for the hook.

I’ve been there.

2014…..

0-8 at Raymond James Stadium.

IMG_20141228_122758527.jpg

Tee hee.

Don’t worry…I got ‘em.

Pay Attention!!

The QB gets too much blame and too much credit.

Any mention of anyone or anything else being the reason the BUCS were successful this season and it immediately goes to the notion one must “hate” the QB.

So weird.

This may be my favourite of the past week.

It’s crazy what film review can do.

Having no recent film of Heinecke caused some big issues for the Defense.

If you go back and look at Bowles’ history of 2nd chances against offenses while in Tampa, he’s found a way of correcting mistakes and exploiting the opposing team.

A hater??

Targeting.

This has been confirmed.

Serious business.

F*ck that faux-fandom.

It’s happening…..

This is one of the cooler videos of Super Bowl reactions.

Notice how there are so very little crowds in the video.

McClendon is one of a few guys that could possibly go out on a high note.

He could hang it up this offseason having won a Super Bowl.

LEGENDARY.

Just a reminder.

Ha!!!

The pettiness knows no boundaries.

The most despised Divisional rival stay having something to say.

Too bad they’ve gotta wait another 6 months to get the taste of ass-whoopin’ outta their mouths.

This will go down as the most talked about Championship parades of all time.

Someone missed a golden opportunity to shoot an Old Spice Swagger commercial here.

Well deserved.

Brady’s social media manager(s) deserve a raise.

Reminder: It’s bigger than sports.

The celebration everyone’s been waiting for.

Devin White and Dream taking a victory lap.

Some of the best of BUCS social media leading into Super Bowl Sunday

Screen Shot 2021-01-26 at 1.27.56 PM.png

Let's be clear. We've been waiting on that offensive explosion all year long.

We've seen glimpses TWICE.

One was the 1st half against Green Bay and the other was Week 17 against Atlanta.

The BUCS still haven’t been in a shootout all season.

If it happens in the Super Bowl on Sunday, it would be a welcomed surprise.

Embrace the brand.

You’ve just gotta love a good airport Twitter fight.

It’ll have to settle for the 2nd place behind the the Great Chicken Sandwich War Of 2019 though.

The stuff you can’t measure can be anything you want to make up and/or believe.

Know ‘bout it.

To some, sports mean more than bragging rights.

The bond over sports is the strongest among many relationships.

It’s one that can serve as the catalyst to reunite old friend and mend broken fences. That’s why they say “Winning cures all”.

Oftentimes, sports can teach someone to keep hope alive.

Here, you can see it keep one’s spirit alive.

I thought these would’ve stopped being funny by now.

I was wrong.

I was dead wrong.

Whoa!(Joey Lawrence voice)

Arians is the loudmouth caricature of a head coach that’s, for some reason, thought of as an offensive genius and QB guru despite it being easily proven otherwise at every turn(Gruden).

Todd Bowles is the quiet, no-nonsense defensive coordinator that’s mostly responsible for the Team’s actual identity and success(Kiffin).

Brady is the game managing QB that’s actually done just enough on the field to not lose games(Johnson).

Deja Vu is real.

Here’s to hoping this glitch in the Matrix continues.

Without fail.

Even on a Super Bowl run.

As if success is transferrable by affiliation somehow.

Watch for the hook. That pigeon-toed strut ain’t foolin’ nobody.

Turf toe or not, Mahomes is flight-risk in the pocket.

This guy gets it.

This is some straight fact checking here.

It’s a damn good sight to see Fournette stepping up and standing up for McCoy.

I’ve not been a fan of McCoy on the field since early in the season.

But, his presence off the field was felt by all the RBs who have gone thru the transition from being a starter, to the backup, and later, to being a reserve.

That’s something I had not taken into account. At least, not to a high degree.

While I still feel like I’d rather see any of the other 3 RBs on the field, McCoy’s influence shouldn’t be dismissed.

And he most certainly shouldn’t be called a “non factor” without specificity or clarity of the role one is speaking of.

Like this wouldn’t be a real post?

C’mon.

“They gonna get ran through in the playoffs…..”

He lives.

The BUCS defense has been slept on most of the season. When they talk about the reasons BUCS aren’t favored in more games, it’s because of the defense and, particularly, the young secondary.

Once again, the defense disproved the rhetoric.

The star of the game knows what it’s all about.

Super or bust.

For the Children.

I was torn between wanting to rematch New Orleans to avenge the Week 9 embarrassment and hoping Drew Brees’ career ended on Nickelodeon buried in slime.

I’m good with watching him ironically pass the torch to JW3 with a 4-INT performance.

It’s like people don’t pay attention.

The BUCS have always been a defensive Team first and foremost.

Don’t let anything else fool you.

It’s funny because it’s true.

It’s also painful.

Seriously…I love seeing the silly side of this dude.

Troll or burner account??

And now, it feels like a Buccaneers December.

Every two years around this time, the calls for a coach’s head get louder.

Between Arians and Leftwich, I still look at Arians as the one with the most fault.

It’s his offense.

He has the power to veto offensive play calls.

He should know better than Leftwich.

And If he values giving Leftwich experience more then he does winning football games in this TIGHT window of opportunity a/k/a “Win Now” mode, he needs his @$$ whooped.

Same.

It’s just insane that it’s taken this long.

Since this is the longest period of time the BUCS have gone without a bye week, this may be an epiphany for me and some other fans to realize how the timing of a bye effects the Team.

Screen Shot 2020-12-01 at 10.12.22 PM.png

How bored, blind, or desperate for attention must one be to watch Sunday’s game and this be the big takeaway?!

Check out my podcast this week for a top secret possible hot take on wannabe insiders.

I’ll be recording live at a location that may or may not be the spot where investors are in the beginning stages of thinking about entertaining the idea building a new multiplex in YBOR City OR Downtown Maitland.

I can’t say much here.

But tune in to the pod this week where I’ll probably say much less.

This KILLED me.

And I can’t stand Nick Wright and most things on ESPN.

I lost it when Romo went on about the wrong hot route being run by Evans while Brady still threw the ball in the direction he shouldn’t be going in for some reason.

And fans have parroted Romo’s thoughts to deflect from the Brady’s decision and place the blame completely on Evans. Regardless of Evans possibly running the wrong route, Romo’s focusing on him completely buried his first statement saying it was a bad throw by Brady.

Befuddling.

giphy-4.gif

Ha!

If you’re an 80’s kid or older, you may get it.

I LOATHE the fact that Bowles somehow gets lumped into the absolute underwhelming work of the offensive coaching staff.

Of the 12 games, Bowles’ coaching has been the only constant.

The only thing fans can hand their hats on. It’s been the only thing close to dominant.

Regardless of the terrible decision to play with fire this past Sunday, Bowles can’t be put in the boat as Arians and Leftwich when it comes to the level of incompetency.

It’s not JUST the system.

It’s bad decisions too.

One exacerbates the other.

giphy-3.gif

This hurts.

One of the greatest movies of all time.

One of the most infuriating offenses in recent memory.

One of the worst complaints in recent memory.

The only legit complaint about running the ball is the one that says the BUCS aren’t running it nearly enough.

It doesn’t matter if the BUCS have a tendency to run it on 1st down or not.

If done smartly, that’s just something else that should be to their advantage.

Should be running a play action immediately if defenses assume the run is coming on the first down.

Generally, I’m 100% against tagging players or coaches with this kind of foolishness.

It doesn’t matter how big the frustration gets.

There’s no sense in this kind of lashing out.

Now, for those foolish enough to antagonize fans with lecturing on how to accept wins and/or losses, they get exactly what they ask for.

The attention of other idiots.

Enjoy.

He did pull a Fred Sanford/Scrappy Doo on the sideline after the Pierre-Paul penalty.

giphy-2.gif

They didn’t have to air that shot of Davis, dammit!

That Popeye’s employee is an American Hero, by the way.

My guy had a rough evening.

Can’t hide from that.

It doesn’t take away from his status as one of the best in League this year.

I’ll still put money on Davis every Sunday.

Serious business.

Nobody’s safe from comedy though..

While I tend to point to the QB when he takes a deep shot, the empty backfield on 3rd and 2 is football sin that should be punishable by (name something that causes excruciating pain).

Some of the best(and WORST) from Buccaneers fans, players, and reporters on social media following the loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

Uggghhhhhh…

I laughed.

And then I cried a lil’ bit.

Remember when fellow BUCS fans clamored for more prime time games?

How they thought that it was disrespectful to not be featured??

Now, it’s something fans are hiding from.

Something the coach addressed as an issue.

They’ve got Brady staying up past his bedtime to practice.

Crazy.

I SO wanted to be able to throw this back in his face.

This was right before kickoff too.

He called it.

At least, that’s one positive coming from the prime time games.

It’s always that one missing piece.

Had Marpet been around, the deep throw to Brate that got intercepted wouldn’t have been thrown.

Also, he probably could’ve pressed Cooper Kupp on the line of scrimmage.

This point CANNOT be overstated.

Back in April, Leftwich mentioned something along the lines of “all I gotta do is not get in the way”.

Well, Arians and Leftwich need to get in the way and direct the QB on what to do and keep him situated.

He can’t be allowed to pick his own shots at the detriment to the Team.

It’s not his fault for wanting to.

It’s Arians’ and Leftwich’s fault for allowing him to.

If you didn’t laugh, I’m sorry, Mrs. Brady.

Ummm....What?!

Ummmmm…..

giphy-7 copy.gif

If only there was a plan in place.

Maybe someone that could be in charge of devising such a plan and then maybe even bring in someone else to manage it while he or she oversees it.

There’s gonna be lots of reactions and commentary like this until Brady goes on a long streak without turning the ball over.

And rightfully so.

This was the 2nd game in which the BUCS lost by 1 score and the QB gave the ball away multiple times.

The previous QB made a habit of this kinda play.

Time’s a wasting…..

Hey…It’s real.

Can’t keep turning a blind eye to bad play.

If you’ve been a fan of the BUCS before March of 2020, you should know this.

Well, most should.

There are hanger-ons still lurking.

Screenshot_20201124-101928.png

The defense is definitely good enough to win.

But the sky is falling for those that allowed hype to build a reality for them that has yet to be realized.

Aiiight…this funny. I don’t care who you are.

The weekly focus on whether or not Brady takes the time to go shake the opposing QBs hand is hilariously painful.

The dude just through a game ending INT.

Had the camera caught him shaking hands and smiling with Goff, I would’ve walked Raymond James Stadium and choked the sh*t out of him in the name of Gerald McCoy.

Ehhhh…Looking at the Team’s “ceiling” isn’t the way to go.

At some point, reality has to set in and you have to address what the proverbial “floor” is.

And initially, that was winning the NFC South. Now, it’s hoping for a Wild Card.

Thangs done changed.

It’s pure insanity that this is even a focus.

But the Head Coach bought into the conversation.

So, it’s real. And it’s a real shame.

Also, an indictment on the Head Coach.

You’ve seen it before.

The infatuation with the QB.

Where nothing is EEEEEEEVER his fault.

It’s everyone and everything but him.

If the QB needs everyone and everything around him, why make a big deal about him being special in any kind of way??

Some of the best(and WORST) of social media from BUCS players, fans and media as they head into Week 9 to face the New Orleans Saints.

There’s a WHOLE lot to love about the Team.

There may not be anything better than the feeling of security for the future though.

And the young Defense provides both upside and a sense of security due the young age and, more importantly, the maturity on that side of the ball.

What a difference a bit of stability and competence can do.

Grown folk thinking.

If you pray, pray to be worthy of what it is you desire.

If you don’t pray, don’t be offended and don’t be offensive.

Leave those that do be.

I watched the game 4 times.

One time was just to see the uniforms in action again.

So DOPE!!

That Tom Brady is a monster.

But, seriously…QBs get too much of the blame and too much of the credit.

This foolishness is routine.

The narrative is set.

There’s no going back.

For the record, Jones has 4 drops charged to him on the season.

He’s got a 71% catch percentage on 31 targets.

“In the past, we would’ve lost this one….”

Funny enough…very much like JW3.

Given FAR too much credit for keeping them in it because it was mostly the defense.

And his multiple turnovers and multiple missed opportunities down field bit them in the ass.

And that “almost pulled it off” 4th quarter “comeback”.

Weren’t those good times??

Yea.

I cracked the hell up on this one.

I still don’t know who it was.

First guess was Devin Smith.

Simple.

The way this cat sprinted across the field to get this break-up was phenomenal.

The recognition.

The speed..

Whew!

Yea…Lots of fans feel like this.

I’m not one.

The bad habits including slow starts and extended stalling have been routine for the Offense and won’t work in tougher competition.

The Defense missed out on opportunities to end the game before that 2-point conversion attempt. Plays they’ve made before.

Nothing to worry about.

But definitely don’t want to count on luck for a win..

The Brady Effect.

Yep.

Fans were complaining about his play all night.

And expected him to get bailed out on this one.

The 4th and 1 mile conversion may have bought him some good will though.

Ha!! Brady Effect.

Ha!

Somebody’s maaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Uggggh…

These people exist.

And probably old enough to vote.

The truth.

The whole truth.

Nothing but the truth.

Actually, he had the manual.

May have read the steps wrong though.

Step 1: Play frustratingly inconsistent for 3.75 quarters

Step 2: Miss easy throws down field by bailing out of the pocket. (This suckers in the defense)

Step 3: Throw an unlikely TD to make make people believe you’ve turned the corner.

Step 4: Hope the referees bail you out of bad situation.

Step 5: Allow the defense to keep you in the game.

Mr. Auman with the weekly update.

This dude just keeps his name out there.

Week in.

Week out.

Making plays.

Flag On The Post: Week Of October 25th

Some of the best(and WORST) of social media from BUCS players, fans and reporters.

Manning with the inside scoop on the play calling.

Kinda impressive.

Fournette’s been keeping it G since day 1. He hasn’t held back one bit.

While I’ve got strong reservations about seeing McCoy on the field, he’s been helping keep Fournette together off the field.

That’s how it should be amongst teammates on and off the field.

Good to see.

Uh Ohhhhh…..He’s self-aware.

He’s still relatively quiet.

But he’s not pretending he doesn’t know how good he is and how good he could be.

That’s TROUBLE for the League.

THIS is why I was heavily against a “veteran presence” in free agency.

“Veteran Presence” has always translated to a more popular name anyways.

The young cats earned their right to continue learning and prove they can belong.

And they’re doing it.

BIG TIME.

This dude.

FINALLY…….The classic red jerseys make their return.

And this NFL Blitz may be coming back too.

It’s like 1997 all over again.

#LifeAfterDeath

Ha!!!!

Ummmmmmm….Yea.

It’s good to see a sense of humor and a knowledge of gaming coming from Tom Brady.

Maybe keep away from the medical statistics though.

Sonic is wise.

Stay in your lane or get these Knuckles.

The dream is alive.

If the BUCS make it to the Super Bowl, regardless of the capacity limit in the stadium, I FULLY expect Tampa to be a hotbed of activity from visitors all over.

But that’s a long ways away. Up next…..New York Giants

They can’t all be winners….

One of the best EVER.

I’ve tried to tell ‘em.

This Defense had been held back all last season and even before that.

This Defense is something else, man.

Lots to be excited about.

Not only with what’s happening, but the future of some of the young cats.

Todd Bowles deserves a helluva whole lot of credit for his contributions.

I’ll be looking into that sooner than later.
